Maintenance of new chopsticks
Operation after receiving
Wash with clean water, then soak in salt water for about 20 minutes and place in a cool place to dry. Remember not to boil in boiling water or expose to the sun!
Operation after drying
Evenly apply cooking oil or olive oil on the chopsticks, let them dry naturally for about 12 hours, and the maintenance is completed after the wood absorbs the oil!
Precautions
Because the original wood is used, the surface is not painted or waxed, and it is not colored, so there will be a little discoloration after soaking in salt water. This is the overflow of the original color of the wood. Don't worry. This is a normal phenomenon, just like the water will change color when soaking black rice and green vegetables, so please feel free to use it!
